Sacred Cycles & Rites of Passage

Honoring the Thresholds of Womanhood

Your transitions are sacred. Your body holds wisdom.

At Hawaii Holistic Therapy, we offer a space to honor the deep initiations that shape a woman’s life — from menstruation to perimenopause to menopause, from maiden to mother, mother to queen, and queen to sage.

At Hawaii Holistic Therapy, we honor the ancient wisdom woven through the rites of passage that shape a woman’s life — from first blood to final bleed, from maiden to mother, mother to queen, and queen to sage.

These aren’t just hormonal shifts or life phases — they are initiations.
Each stage is a threshold — a symbolic and spiritual crossing point — that holds the potential for transformation, healing, and deeper embodiment of who you truly are.

Too often, these sacred moments go unrecognized, leaving women feeling alone, confused, or disconnected. But when we slow down to honor them with intention, meaning, and ritual, we reconnect with our power and find clarity in the stories we carry.

Maiden, Mother, Queen, Crone—each passage is a portal. When we honor the transitions, we reclaim the power they were meant to awaken.
— Hawaii Holistic Therapy

What Are the Rites of Passage We Explore?

  1. Maiden – The awakening of identity, curiosity, and creativity. Learning to trust the body and voice.

  2. Mother – A stage of birthing life, projects, or deeper care for others. Learning how to hold and how to be held.

  3. Queen – The time of discernment, refinement, and leadership — where boundaries, purpose, and sovereignty are redefined.

  4. Sage / Crone – The passage into deeper wisdom, spiritual vision, and rooted legacy. A return to the self beyond roles.

We also explore the physiological thresholds of menstruation, perimenopause, and menopause as initiatory portals — rich with spiritual and emotional meaning when met with compassion and awareness.

You don’t have to move through these seasons alone or unseen.

Sacred Cycles at Hawaii Holistic Therapy

Led by Maisa Ziegler, LCSW | Founder of Hawaii Holistic Therapy

You are not broken. You are cyclical.
In a world that asks women to be linear, productive, and disconnected from their bodies, it’s no wonder so many feel overwhelmed, lost, or out of sync with themselves.

Whether you’ve felt stuck in patterns of shame, exhaustion, disconnection, or pain—there’s a deeper truth within you waiting to be remembered.

Your body holds ancient wisdom. Your cycles—emotional, physical, energetic—are sacred. Feminine embodiment is not about performing or striving. It’s about coming home to your rhythm, your intuition, and your wholeness.

Herbal & Plant-Based Mental Health Education

In addition to therapy, we offer trauma-informed education and support around working with plants and herbs as gentle, nourishing companions to your inner work.

We explore:

1. Nervine and adaptogenic herbs to support the nervous system

2. Tea infusions and herbal rituals for grounding and emotional balance

3. Cyclical support for menstruation, mood shifts, or hormonal transitions

4. Practices to connect with plant allies for clarity, regulation, and self-trust

This is not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice — but a soulful offering to help you rebuild a relationship with the Earth, your intuition, and your body's natural rhythms.

Our Approach to Sacred Cycle & Embodiment Work Includes:

Somatic Feminine Practices

Movement, breathwork, and body-based tools to gently reconnect you with sensation, emotion, and deep intuition.

Ritual & Ceremony

Honoring your rites of passage (menarche, motherhood, loss, rebirth) through sacred practices rooted in reverence and meaning.

Cycle Awareness

What We Offer:

  1. A space to rewrite the story of your life transitions

  2. Support in reclaiming natural wisdom and releasing outdated patterns

  3. Rituals, storytelling, and holistic tools for navigating life thresholds

  4. Education around natural, plant-based support that honors your body's cues

  5. A compassionate space for grief, joy, rebirth, and integration

“You are not too emotional, too late, too much, or too lost. You are standing at a sacred threshold.”
– Maisa Ziegler
